How does ‘pay on tour’ work?
If you make a booking, we only require a deposit to secure your seats. The balance will show on your e-voucher. This can be paid to the tour guide when you are pickued up from your hotel, or at the pier in case of a boat tour. Please make sure to bring the remaining balance in cash as not all operators have a credit card machine available.
How can I pay for my tour?
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard or JCB creditcard. We also accept Paypal payments online. If you wish to make a booking using a bank transfer, please contact us for the details. On the tour day you can pay the remaining balance in cash to the tour guide.
Can I book tours for the next or same day?
We accept bookings for the next day until 21:00 or 9:00pm in the evening. If you wish to make a last minute booking, it’s best to contact us straight away so we can try to arrange it for you. Our booking staff is available until 22:00 in the evening. We block same day bookings in our system to avoid overbookings but you can always contact us so we can check the availability for same day bookings for you.
When do you send me my pickup time?
We usually inform you about the pickup time 1 day before the actual tour day. Sometimes a few days earlier once the pickup route is set. You can expect an email or Whatsapp message from us with the exact pickup time on the day prior to the tour.
How do I book for infants?
Infants don’t have their own seats on the boats or during land transfers and can be carried by an adult. That’s why they don’t have to be booked individually. If you wish to bring a baby, please let us know in the remarks section during checkout. You can bring a baby stroller if it can be folded.
How will I be picked up and dropped off?
If your tour includes a transfer, a minivan or ‘songthaew’ will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at the end of the day. Please be ready at the reception of your hotel at the mentioned pickup time so we can make the pickup process as smooth as possible.
Do you offer discounts for groups?
As margins are tight we can’t offer great discounts, but in case of groups of 6 persons or more we will be able to provide a group discount. Please contact us by email, phone or Whatsapp so we can make you an offer.
Do I have to print my booking voucher?
Please don’t print your booking voucher but show it on your phone. That saves ink and paper!
Can I be picked up from a private house or villa?
If your villa is easily accessible from the main road we can pick you up from there. Please note that most minivans won’t be able to go up steep hills. If you contact us with a location in Google maps we can check the pickup possibilities from there.
What if the pickup is late or doesn’t show up at all?
If the pickup is at least 15 minutes later than the mentioned pickup time, please contact us right away. We will contact the driver for you to check his location. Due to the size of Krabi and surroundings it’s nearly impossible to plan an exact pickup time, especially when there is heavy traffic. You can always contact us so we can check the estimated arrival time for you.
What happens in case of bad weather?
In case of unsafe weather the tour operator will decide to cancel it. We will try to contact you straight away so we can either reschedule for a different day or refund you the paid amount in full.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits paid through this website are non refundable, unless otherwise specified in the terms and conditions.
Update Corona virus
As we received many cancellations because of the Covid19 outbreak, we offer a free date change for your booked tour. Please contact us with your booking number to receive a voucher for any date in the future when international air travel is back to normal.
Can I change the date of the tour?
Yes that’s possible. Please contact us no later than 17:00 or 5:00pm on the day before the tour so we can change the date of your booking. Please note that availability can’t always be guaranteed if it’s a next day booking.
How can I trust Krabi-tours.net?

Why don’t you provide tours with animal shows?
We firmly believe that animal shows are a thing of the past and don’t want to promote animal cruelty, even when it’s still widely accepted by many people. There are many other ways of having an amazing day out. We therefore don’t provide tours that have animal shows on the itinerary. The opposite goes for the elephant sanctuaries we have on our website: they are carefully selected and known for the good treatment of animals.
